ISAGER Mulberry Silk is a fine, thin, 100% silk yarn, spun with 2 strands. It's a wonderful fiber to work with other yarns as the silk adds softness and elegance to any project when knitted together with other yarns from the Isager range.
Mulberry Silk works particularly well when held together with our Isager Tvinni, Alpaca 2, or Merilin as it gives a beautiful, cool and shiny look that complements the more matte yarns. When combined with wool yarns, the silk adds softness without the “long-haired” look of Isager Silk Mohair. It is especially suitable for lighter textiles, scarves and baby clothes.
