




Intro to Rigid Heddle Weaving with April Hartman
- Techniques: Tabby weave, consistent beating for even fabric, and creating crisp edges
- Finishing: Hemstitching on the loom, removing your work, and wet-finishing processes for a professional result.
- If you would like to warp your own loom, April is offering an add on session on Thursday , Oct 1st 11a-1p.

Materials: 3 skeins of Malabrigo Rios, choose 1-3 different colors for beautiful effect! Please purchase by 9/30, so we can prep the looms on 10/1.You will need scissors and a large tapestry needle in class.
April Hartman is a fiber arts educator and visual artist with a focus on knitting, tapestry, and rigid heddle weaving. When she isn’t teaching and creating new classes, she finds joy in collecting sea shells, painting seascapes and sheep (though not necessarily together!), spinning art yarn, and watching kdramas with her daughter and two giant, fluffy dogs - Orla and Finnegan.
Class Fees & Supplies:
Registration fees secure your spot in the class. Class fees must be paid at least 3 days prior to the first session. Class supplies are not included in registration fee, and must be purchased through the shop. Students will receive a 10% discount code for class supplies.
Cancellation Policy:
Store credit is offered for cancellations up to 7 days before the first session. No refunds or credits are given for cancellations less than 7 days prior to the first class, or for missed sessions. Makeup sessions are offered at the discretion of the instructor.
If class enrollment does not meet the instructor's minimum, the class may be cancelled and students will receive a full refund for the class fee. Students will be notified of class cancelations.
