Intro to Knitting 3: Choose Your Path Sock Class
The third of our core classes for learning to knit.
3, weekly 2 hour sessions.
Now that you have a solid base of skills (if you've made a hat) you are ready for socks!
Learn the basics of sock knitting, the most transportable little project a knitter has in their repertoire. Once you've put on a pair of hand knit socks, you will never be without a pair on your needles. Your family will be begging for more.
This sock class takes you through an easy, top down sock pattern, Rye Socks by Tin Can Knits.
This pattern comes in both Worsted, DK and Fingering weight options. Students will choose their desired weight for the class. All supplies must be purchased from the shop, students will receive a 10% discount code once they register.
Supplies:
Worsted weight (suggested for beginners)- 2 skeins of Malabrigo Rios, Germantown Worsted, or Blue Sky Sweater.
Needles: DPNs Size US 6 or 7 to meet gauge, and 1 set a size smaller than gauge needle.
DK Weight- 2 skeins Emma's Drapey DK, Annabel Williams Darwin Alpaca DK, or Isager Jensen.
Needles- DPNs US size 2-3 to meet gaige , and 1 set size smaller than gauge needle.
Fingering weight (for advanced beginners): 1 skein Hue Loco, Annabel Williams 4 ply, Isager Merilin, or Bio Balance.
Needles: DPNs Size US 1-2 to meet gauge, and 1 set a size smaller than gauge needle.

Class Fees & Supplies:
Registration fees secure your spot in the class. Class fees must be paid at least 3 days prior to the first session. Class supplies are not included in registration fee, and must be purchased through the shop. Students will receive a 10% discount code for class supplies.
Cancellation Policy:
Store credit is offered for cancellations up to 7 days before the first session. No refunds or credits are given for cancellations less than 7 days prior to the first class, or for missed sessions. Makeup sessions are offered at the discretion of the instructor.
If class enrollment does not meet the instructor's minimum, the class may be cancelled and students will receive a full refund for the class fee. Students will be notified of class cancelations.
