Intro to Knitting 2: Hat & Hand Warmers

A beginning knitting class to follow our Intro to Knitting 1 : Boot Camp.

Students will learn:

-the importance of gauge, and gauge swatching.

-knitting in the round, with circular & DPN needles.

-directional decreasing and increasing

Students will make the Purl Soho, Wide brim Hat & Mitts.

4, 2 hour weekly sessions. 

Class supplies not included in Class fee.

Supplies List: 

2 skeins, Blue Sky Alpaca Sweater, 50/50 superwash merino/cotton

OR

2 Skeins Malabrigo Rios superwash merino

1 16" circular needle, size US 7

1 set DPN needles, size US 7

Closed Stitch markers

Darning needle (Clover Chibi set)

Class Fees & Supplies: 

Registration fees secure your spot in the class. Class fees must be paid at least 3 days prior to the first session.  Class supplies are not included in registration fee, and must be purchased through the shop. Students will receive a 10% discount for class supplies.

Cancellation Policy:

Store credit is offered for cancellations up to 7 days before the first session. No refunds or credits are given for cancellations less than 7 days prior to the first class, or for missed sessions. Makeup sessions are offered at the discretion of the instructor.

If class enrollment does not meet the instructor's minimum, the class may be cancelled and students will receive a full refund for the class fee.  Students will be notified of class cancelations.
