Have you ever wanted to make your own yarn? Join weaving and spinning instructor, April Harman for an introduction to drop spindle spinning.

Friday, October 2nd from 2-4pm

You will learn how to draft and spin a single-ply yarn in class, and April will cover the next steps in your yarn making journey! No experience necessary.

Materials: a drop spindle and 1-2 yards of roving, not included and must be purchased from the shop. 

No prior experience is necessary!

April Hartman is a fiber arts educator and visual artist with a focus on knitting, tapestry, and rigid heddle weaving. When she isn’t teaching and creating new classes, she finds joy in collecting sea shells, painting seascapes and sheep (though not necessarily together!), spinning art yarn, and watching kdramas with her daughter and two giant, fluffy dogs - Orla and Finnegan.

Class Fees & Supplies: 

Registration fees secure your spot in the class. Class fees must be paid at least 3 days prior to the first session.  Class supplies are not included in registration fee, and must be purchased through the shop. Students will receive a 10% discount code for class supplies.

Cancellation Policy:

Store credit is offered for cancellations up to 7 days before the first session. No refunds or credits are given for cancellations less than 7 days prior to the first class, or for missed sessions. Makeup sessions are offered at the discretion of the instructor.

If class enrollment does not meet the instructor's minimum, the class may be cancelled and students will receive a full refund for the class fee.  Students will be notified of class cancelations.
