Why "MarshWiggle???"

The avid knitter learns over time that the process is more important than the product.

It’s the adventure and journey of creating that has the real value.

“Ripping” out your work and beginning again is the foundation of growing skills in the fiber arts.  Knitters refer to ripping out their work as “Frogging”. (Rip-it, Rip-it!)

The British colloquialism “Ripping Yarn” is also the telling of an adventurous tale.

In the Narnian adventure “The Silver Chair”, CS Lewis created a very skilled group of frog-like creatures called Marsh-wiggles. They were loyal, adaptable, good at fishing and making things. Lines…strings…yarn!

What is a community of marsh dwelling, crafty people, frogging their work?  MarshWiggles.
